 Join the fun team at The Fōwling Warehouse, Omaha’s newest indoor sport/recreation facility.

Our business growth has created a position for an “on-call” bartender to help handle large group reservations within short notice – anywhere from 3 days to 3 hours.

The Fowling Warehouse provides a very comfortable work environment. We have an enthusiastic & friendly customer base. This position includes a very attractive, guaranteed tip every shift including $9 per hour.

Our POS is Union, which is very user friendly.

Salary: $9 per hour, plus guaranteed tip

Schedule: As needed, 3-6 hour shift. Most demands are Friday and Saturday evening, although we could have an event during the weekdays in the afternoons.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Prepares and serves drinks for our customers and serves in a timely manner
• Keep bars stocked, bar equipment and working areas and bar tables clean
• Ensure all areas of the bars are cleaned and sanitized, maintaining health code standards
• Achieve mastery of the bars POS system and all other applications involved with operations of the business
• Upsell drinks to maximize profits and tips

Qualifications

• RBST Training Certificate or equivalent preferred
• Minimum 2 years bartending experience
• Ability to handle high-volume, 50+ customers
• Excellent customer service experience
• Reliable transportation
• 19 years of age or older

Physical Demands

The Fowling Warehouse is equipped with two bars. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; kneel. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10-15 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 20-30 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 35 pounds.

Schedule – 26 hours/week
Wednesday & Thursday 5 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Friday 4 p.m. – Midnight
Saturday 3 p.m. – 11 p.m.
Additional on-call as needed for private events which includes bonus pay

Salary: $19 per hour

Additional Pay: Tips

Your responsibilities will include:

• Walking customers to their assigned Fowling lanes & verbally explaining the rules and regulations of Fowling.
• Preparing our two private customer lounges by stocking with appropriate beverages and cleaning if necessary
• Providing excellent customer service
• Approaching customers on Fowling lanes, taking drink orders and inputting into POS
• Upselling drinks to maximize profits
• Gathering drink orders from the bar and delivering to the appropriate Fōwling lane
• Ensuring cleanliness and tidiness of the lounge areas, walkways, tables, and the Fōwling lanes. Throws away cups, cans, changes trash bags, operates floor cleaning equipment, sweeps, and mops throughout the facility.
• Become knowledgeable and efficient with the POS system and all other applications
• Performs other duties as assigned

Your responsibilities will include:

• Prepare and serve drinks for our customers in a timely manner
• Upselling drinks to maximize profits
• Providing excellent customer service
• Keep bars stocked, bar equipment and working areas clean
• Stocking the bar inventory when needed
• Become knowledgeable and efficient with the POS system
• Ensure all areas of the bars are cleaned and sanitized, maintaining health code standards

Physical demands:

• Answering inbound phone calls
• Responding to email inquiries in an accurate and timely manner
• Become knowledgeable of the electronic waiver and point-of-sale systems
• Utilize the point-of-sale system to book group events
• Processing payments
• Greet customers as they enter the facility
• Check customers in with the point-of-sale system
• Scan and read ID’s
• Ensure every customer completes a waiver
• Issue wrist bands
• Directing customers to their appropriate Fōwling lane
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
